The Sherp game demo is based on the innovative Sherp ATV, a unique vehicle from Ukraine known for its ability to navigate challenging terrains thanks to its pneumatic tire system. This system allows the vehicle to adjust tire pressure, enabling it to overcome diverse obstacles.
Project Goals:
Our aim was to recreate the Sherp ATV's unique features in a virtual environment while adding engaging gameplay elements.
We designed missions set against natural disasters and rescue operations in flooded areas, highlighting the vehicle's capabilities.
My Role and Contributions:
In this project, I took on multiple roles, each contributing significantly to the project's success:
Game Design:
As a Game Designer, I was deeply involved in developing the core gameplay mechanics.
This included conceptualizing and designing the missions and challenges that players would encounter, aligning them with the Sherp ATV's real-world capabilities.
Project Management:
I managed the collaboration between different departments, ensuring we adhered to our timelines and maintained high-quality standards.
Leading regular meetings and daily check-ins, I guided our team through the project's phases, addressing challenges and ensuring we stayed aligned with our objectives using Jira.
